Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina was born in Palestrina(Papal Sates) in 3th Febrary of 1525. It was  one of the most important composers of 16th century.

He was married with Lucrezia Gori but when she dies Palestrina married with a rich widow called Virginia Dormoli.

He has a lot of works: in 1537 entered in the chorus of the church of Sta Maria of Palestrina, in 1544 was the organist and director of the chorus of the Palestrina's cathidral, in 1551 was nomenated the chorus director of the Julia chapel of St Peter's of Rome, between 1567 and 1571 served as musical director in the town of Ippolit II, cardinal of  East. In 1571 he returned to the Julia chapel, where he remained until his death.
