Welcome to Regions2
 "Regions2" is an international web2 based partnership project about cultural habits and school life, involving approximately 190 students, from 9 to 15 years old, from eight schools in five countries.
"Regions2" pretends to develop in students the respect for other cultures, the knowledge of subjects related to History and Religion, Geography, Physical Education and healthy lifestyles, and the acquisition of linguistic, group work and ICT  skills, and also the self esteem.
“Regions2” integrates the following partner schools: from Romania, SCOALA VIDRA (Alba), SCOALA SLATIOARA (Slatioara), SFANTUL VASILE SECONDARY SCHOOL (Ploiesti), CORESI SCHOOL (Targoviste); from Poland, GIMNAZJUM 19 (Lublin); from The Netherlands,  PRINSENTUIN (Breda); from Greece, 1º GYMNASIO (Edessa) and from Portugal ESCOLA BÁSICA ANTÓNIO ALVES AMORIM (Lourosa).
Regions2 started in the 1st October 2012 and will end in the final of January 2013.
Filipe Cálix (POR) is the project’s International Coordinator, and Nadia Vesa, Christina  Alexe, Camelia Radulescu, Georgeta Caspruf (ROM), Anna Walaszek (POL), Jeroen Wouters (NDL), Savvas Nikolaidis (GRE) and Daniel Rocha (POR) are the school work coordinators.
We all consider that this project will be very useful for all of our students once there will be involved means: to use  English as main communication language, which that will increase the interest for languages and the acquisition of better communication skills; to improve the artistic skills by using the photography and other forms of artistic expression;
to develop search and ICT skills; to break social and cultural borders; to respect and learn more about others people traditions and cultures.
We all strongly believe that "Regions2" could be the spark that will bring about a multilateral Comenius project starting in 2013.
