Thursday 8 May
|
|
Bank holiday so the motto was to consume and waste less on that day!
During that week the teachers could also choose between 16 videos in order to show to their pupils various aspects of our environment and then work on green projects during their own class!
Pupils could also take and fill in a questionnaire on environment and hand it back to the Junior High school library on Friday after school, so they had the whole week to find answers to all the questions and try to learn many things from their readings! The winners of that contest will receive a bottle of bio juice and a subscription to a green magazin for a year.

Pupils, students and teachers could fill in the questionnaire and then hand it in to see how they did and how they ranked in environmental knowledge! Thanks Mr Drapier for the work and the marking....

Various exhibitions
|
|
In our vocational school library you could take your class to see an exhibition on Fair traid and on Simple ecological gestures. Teachers had prepared questionnaires that the pupils could fill in and then you could develop the themes you wanted in your own class.
In building number two, we could enjoy an exhibition about cars and pollution that were nicely presented in frames and hung in the corridor.
In the high school library students could admire the wonderful pictures taken from the sky by Yann Agnes Bertrand.
In the hall of building number 5, everybody could have a look at the paperbins that were realised by the students in Art lessons and that have now been placed in the Junior High school rooms to collect as much paper as possible.
Everybody could also read throughout the week thousands of sayings, mottos and sentences about ecology collected by our Green Club and posted everywhere around the school. This club met every Monday for 8 months to prepare this green week.
A film was also shot everyday by the local TV and presented on Rombas channel.
