Lyon is a city situated in the region the Region Alps which is the chief town of this region which is the second one in France. Lyon is the prefecture of Rhone Alps.  It’s also the third French town. There are 445452 inhabitants for 1414km². But, if we count the Suburb. Lyon is the second town in France after Paris.
 

Lyon is a historical town. It was founded in 43 BC by the Romans. Her name was Lugdunum. At this time, it was the capital city of the Gaules.The 3 parts of Gaul mentioned by Caesar met at Lyon.
