The most important thing in Leghorn is the harbour. In the past was a natural harbour and there were only fishers, it wasn't commercial. In the past ships left the harbour to go around all the Mediterranean and in this way the town grew bigger because there were exchanges with lots of people from many different countries; indeed Leghorn has become a town of different cultures and  religions and the Jews come here (in XVIII century) to escape from the persecutions of the other countries and they could stay here without problems. At the end of this short text about Leghorn's story we want to high-light how in this town is important this commercial harbour also because since XVIII century it was the Pisa's harbour and from it Pisa become an important city. So this harbour helped the exchanges so the city become one of the most tolerant cities in the world.
