Subject: Places for students to eat and drink in the Rybnik area

PURPOSE
The aim of this report is to provide details of places to eat out in the Rybnik area that are suitable for students visiting from other countries.

FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS
There are a lot of fast food restaurants in Rybnik. The  two  most popular ones are Mc Donald's and Pizza Hut in Rynek Square, both of them  offering relatively cheap food served. They are located in the town centre, contrary to another popular place - Mc Donald's in Budowlanych Street. Although situated in the suburbs, the restaurant is also a busy spot due to the Mc-drive service it offers.

RESTAURANTS
Many of the town's restaurants can be found in Rynek Square. The most popular of these are the Ristorante and the Sphinx. The former specializes in Italian cuisine, but is rather expensive. The latter offers a varied menu with a wide range of authentic local dishes. Prices are reasonable - about 5 EURO for a main course . Students will enjoy dining in both the restaurants, as they provide a cosy athmosphere.

PUBS
Most of these are located either in the town centre or close to it. The Celtic serves a great variety of beer in Irish-like surroundings. Another favourite is the Art Cafe which offers a limited range of home-made meals. Both places are recommended for foreign students who want to spend an enjoyable evening out listening to nice music and meeting local people of their age.

CONCLUSION
To sum up, the eating places in Rybnik offer good value food and there is a wide range to suit all tastes. A visit to any of the mentioned above would give students an excellent chance to meet local people and taste delicious local dishes.
