The Stedelijk College Eindhoven is a school in the north of Eindhoven.
Our school excels in the bilingual programme in which students are taught in Dutch and English depending on the subject. This programme was started in 1992 and has rapidly developed due to its international character.
A number of our students choose to study abroad after successfully finishing their high school career. We are a modern Dutch school that is focused on international relations. An important part of the curriculum is international awareness.
The ever strengthening ties between India and the Netherlands has made it obvious that a tie with a secondary school in India would add greatly to the intercultural awareness of our students.

The Stedelijk College Eindhoven is fully aware that our next generation pupils will be more involved in global business and politics. Therefore we believe that it is our mission to prepare them and make them aware of the variety of cultures. India being a growing economy and force in the corporate world will definitely be one of the large players in future.

Pius X-College in Bladel is a coeducational  comprehensive school in the province of Noord-Brabant, in the south of Holland (between Eindhoven and the Belgian border)  for students aged 12-18.
Our pre-university level curriculum ( for 12-17/18 year-old students) include Dutch, English, German, French, Latin, Greek, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, ICT, Economics, Business Studies, Geography, History, Social Studies, Philosophy, Music, Arts, Physical Education and Religious Instruction.
We offer an optional course in Spanish for talented students as well.
In August 2005 Pius X-College started its Bilingual Department for talented and motivated students who are ready for the challenge to be taught in English for at least 50% of the curriculum.
Our students and teachers have always been active in international exchanges with partnerschools in e.g. Italy, Poland, Germany, Denmark and Belgium and ICT/ejournal contacts with e.g. Spain, Argentina and Germany.
With the start of the Bilingual Department Pius X-College has even become more active in finding and opening new windows to the world around us.
We are looking forward to collaborate on subjects and topics that enhance appreciation of other countries and cultures and create an ever strengthened bond with students form other countries and continents.
Mutual commitment to  development of ICT in our school through projects and exchanges demonstrate the potential of ICT not only to support teaching and learning in classrooms but also to develop the concept of the global classroom.
Especially for our younger bilingual students (12-15 years old)  this visit to India will hopefully be the starting point of a mutual partnership to value the international learning dimension and multicultural cooperation in education. Exchanging ideas and sharing experiences offer new dimensions for education and give students from both continents the opportunity to learn about each other and with each other.
