Lessons for students on Intercultural communication
Based upon the theory of Hofstede.

An interesting reference for acquiring skills and knowledge is the research done by G. Hofstede (Cultures and organizations) in which he offers a systematic method to analyse differences between cultures.
Based on his analysis a workshop has been designed for students. In that workshop students get acquainted with the theory on cultures and with a number of assignments they practice the theory. During international contacts this model has been useful and a good introduction for students. |
