Him is a Fnnish rock band and they play so called "love metal". Here's some history of the band:
Him started to play in 1995 but the name was then His Infernal Majesty. The band shortened its name to Him when their first album was published in 1997. The band's breaktrough happened in 1999 with a album called Razorblade Romance. Songs like Join me (in death) and Right here in my arms were big hits in Finland and in Central Europe. The band's best known album internationally, Dark light, was published in 2005. The band made Finnish music history when the album rose to the 18 th place in Bilboard Top 200 album list in America. The album's first single "Wings of a butterfly" rose to top 10 list in England and in Germany. The album did also make history of Finnish rock when it sold gold in USA. World-widely the album has sold over 900 000 pieces. Altogether Him's albums have sold over 4,1 millions pieces.
