Helene Schjerfbeck - a Finnish Painter

She lived in 1862-1946 and she was Finnish painter. Helene is a most admired  artist. Her achievement has been popular.
Schjerfbeck was a wonder child. She got to study in a Finnish art school when she was eleven years old. Her style was abstract. Her life became difficult because of her hip damage. Helene's mum got sick so Helene had to stay home and paint there. She painted until she died.
Helene's art production endured over 70 year.

- Tanssiaiskengät, 1882 (Dance Shoes, 1882)
- Kotona, 1905 (At Home, 1905)
- Omakuva, 1915 (Self-portrait, 1915)
