Baltic sea
|
The water in the Baltic sea is less salty than in seas normaly. That’s why the flora and fauna is unique. For example there aren’t any squid, corals, sea anemones or seastars in it. It doesn’t have any tide or ocean current either. The archipelago on Baltic sea has four different zones, that have different plants and animals. Finnish people swim and sail in the Baltic sea and fishers also catch fish from it. Unfortunately the Baltic sea is quite polluted. But nowadays people know that better and try to save and protect the unique ecosystem of the Baltic sea. The sea also freezes in the winters near the finnish coast.
