At this moment it is not the best thing to talk about, in fact, if you watch the news on TV, you can see where the Spaniards spend their money, Corruption! Politicians are going to jail and even the Royal Family has problems too. Last week somebody said that out of 23 European football teams that had millionaire debts, 22 were Spanish!

In the last decades, the Spanish government spent a lot of money on building airports which now are closed, huge and expensive stadiums, lots of auditoriums... I don't know how the English government spends their public money but I can guess it is not in the same way. When I see these things, I think it is a shame to be Spanish. Valle-Inclán once said that you can't wait anything good from a country where there are too many lawyers...

But, in spite of this, there are a lot of Spanish people who work hard and know how to spend their money. We prefer playing the lottery, the English prefer betting on horse races. We love going out for dinner, they love gardening at home. Our behaviours are different but the European crisis is on the air so I think both are on the same boat, and we can ask ourselves the same question: How can we spend the little money we have? or better, How can we save it?
