The White Cross at Richmond
The first time I went to London I was on a holiday. I visitied Richmond and stayed in The White Cross Hotel (the one you can see in the photo).
It is the typical bed and breakfast hotel in London. There are one or more at each corner.
Normally, most of them are very old houses- like this one- but they are very comfortable and pleasant inside. The White Cross is especially good. It's situated just in the river side; you can touch the water with your hand and, when the tide came up, we had to stay inside because the water entered the dining-room, even the pub and into the kitchen, which is two or three stairs up., so we had to wait until the tide came down.
The owner was an English lady called Mrs Grace Puddicombe and she's the one in a black blouse near the front door, feeding the ducks.
Whether on business or pleasure, this B&B is very comfortable to stay by the lovely River Thames, over looking Richmond Bridge. It's worth going there!
