Borni mean ‘The Blessed' We always cherish a dream to start an English Medium International School of exacting standards. With this as the base Borni Memorial English School was established in the years 2001 with just 12 students in small premises within the house in the veranda. Borni is a blessed beauty, the glory. Early years it was named Glory English School.

BMES expects an enrollment of approximately 400 students, Early Childhood through grade 8 for the 2009-2011 school year.

Organization and Structure
|
The school is managed by Self Help Intercommunity Group Foundation-Having its restered under Section 7(1) of Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989(Manipur Act of 1990). Under the terms and conditions laid down by Cooperative of Society of Manipur. The school is governed by a Board of Trustee elected by the parents and faculty. School Management board and The Trust, among the Trustee and appoints two other members. To structure, curriculum methods, and general approach utilize the local and International integrated programs

Teaching and Support Staff

BMES employs are, professionally trained team of classroom teachers, instructional assistants, support and clerical staff, and one nurse. Additionally, a pediatrician serves as community development advisor to BMES. For the academic years, we will have 10 full-time and 4 part-time employees.

Special Programs
|
 Children at BMES-During Games
Specialist teachers are provided for Drama, Music, Art, PE, and Technology for KG through grade 8. The school offers comprehensive after-school Activities and athletics programs. This includes: Arts and Crafts, Cooking and many others. The athletics program includes track and field, soccer, tennis, kho-kho, Kabaddi and volleyball. In addition, BMES actively participates in international projects; Project Based Learning (BPL) Ejournal Networking Development.

We have been working in a position that requires interpersonal skills, capacity building and leadership to establish an integrated school framework and implementation of learning operation in institution based on values and principles, within educational enterprises ranging from small school to international organizations. Proven ability to manage community school, human resource management, resolve conflicts, communicate educational concepts, establish processes and implement solution or informal setting with teams from different disciplines and cultures.
